conjectural navel gazing; jesus in lint form

I'm never sure where to begin. 

 

I find that, as a (cultural?) Baptist, it's a constant temptation to begin and end with a testimony. 

 

Not that I have anything against testimonies. Not at all, but there's a precarious line to walk there...Is the testimony about how God saved me or is the testimony a demonstration of how cool I think I am? That I hve to ask the question at all is telling. That I always ask that question is, I hope, a sign of sanity or better: wisdom. 

 

Note: Wisdom and sanity are not always the same thing.
